A growing number of publicans are getting behind the ‘Pubs Welcoming Creativity’ campaign from Creative Lives, which is being supported by Pub is The Hub and CAMRA.
Kerry Ford, publican of The Pipemakers Arms, in Broseley, Shropshire, who opened the pub in October, says: “I think the ‘Pubs Welcoming Creativity’ campaign is a great initiative and has inspired me to try and attract creative groups in to use the pub.”
“We have the ‘Creativity Friendly Venue’ sticker on the pub’s door and I will continue to highlight that we are a great space for local creative groups to meet on social media and when chatting with customers and locals.”
