Business Start Up Help And Advice

Do you have a good business idea in food and drink but don’t know where to start?

Business Link Humber together with Hull City Council and Pure Training Solutions is providing free training courses for new food and drink businesses. The new Enterprise in Food courses are being held in Hull and Bridlington this autumn - one evening per week 6pm to 9pm.

Topics covered include trading standards, marketing, haccp, environmental health, taxation and financial planning as well as case study businesses. All training is delivered by food professionals. The courses aim to give individuals the knowledge and skills needed to run a successful food business. The scheme is relevant to those wanting to add a village shop, café / restaurant or farm shop to their existing business.

The course details are as follows:

Hull: Malmo Park, Food Innovation and Technology Centre, Sutton Fields Industrial Estate, Hull. Wednesdays from September 26th to November 14th.

Bridlington: Bridlington Business Centre, Bessingby Industrial Estate. Thursdays from October 11th to November 1st.
