Longden calls it a "huge step" for the organisation

Pub is the Hub has launched a new regional advisory group in the South East of England.

Former Humberts Leisure director, Anthony Miller has been announced as chairman, while the group’s members include companies such as Punch Taverns and Enterprise Inns.

The group forms part of Pub is the Hub’s (PITH) National Steering Panel.

John Longden, PITH's director, said: "The formation of this latest regional advisory group is a huge step for the organisation. I am delighted to have Anthony Miller as its chair.

“He has pulled together a distinguished and experienced group and I look forward to working with them on pub projects in the local communities, particularly as we are seeing such an increase in diversification and the provision of local services coming from the Home Counties and the South East.”

A representative from PITH joins one from Shepherd Neame, the Post Office, Punch Taverns, Fullers, Admiral Taverns, Chartell Communications, Scottish & Newcastle Pub Enterprise, Marlborough Leisure and Enterprise Inns to make up the new group.
